【摘要】:1.1Scope.1.1.1Applicability.1.1.1.1Thiscodeisasafetycodethatshallapplytotheinstallationoffuelgaspipingsystems,appliances,equipment,andrelatedaccessoriesasshownin1.1.1.1(A)through1.1.1.1(D).(A)Coverageofpipingsystemsshallextendfromthepointofdeliverytotheapplianceconnections.Forotherthanundilutedliquefiedpetroleumgas(LP-Gas)systems,thepointofdeliveryshallbeconsideredtobetheoutletoftheservicemeterassemblyortheoutletoftheserviceregulatororserviceshutoffvalvewherenometerisprovided.ForundilutedLP-Gas,thepointofdeliveryshallbeconsideredtobetheoutletofthefinalpressureregulator,exclusiveoflinegasregulators,inthesystem.(B)Themaximumoperatingpressureshallbe125psi(862kPa).ExceptionNo.1:Pipingsystemsforgasairmixtureswithintheflammablerangearelimitedtoamaximumpressureof10psi(69kPa).ExceptionNo.2:LP-Gaspipingsystemsarelimitedto20psi(140kPa),exceptasprovidedin5.5.2.(C)Requirementsforpipingsystemsshallincludedesign,materials,components,fabrication,assembly,installation,testing,inspection,operation,andmaintenance.(D)Requirementsforappliances,equipment,andrelatedaccessoriesshallincludeinstallation,combustion,andventilationairandventing.1.1.1.2Thiscodeshallnotapplytothefollowingitems(referencestandardsforsomeofwhichappearinAnnexM):(1)PortableLP-Gasappliancesandequipmentofalltypesthatarenotconnectedtoafixedfuelpipingsystem(2)Installationoffarmappliancesandequipmentsuchasbrooders,dehydrators,dryers,andirrigationequipment(3)Rawmaterial(feedstock)applicationsexceptforpipingtospecialatmospheregenerators(4)Oxygenfuelgascuttingandweldingsystems(5)Industrialgasapplicationsusingsuchgasesasacetyleneandacetyleniccompounds,hydrogen,ammonia,carbonmonoxide,oxygen,andnitrogen(6)Petroleumrefineries,pipelinecompressororpumpingstations,loadingterminals,compoundingplants,refinerytankfarms,andnaturalgasprocessingplants(7)Largeintegratedchemicalplantsorportionsofsuchplantswhereflammableorcombustibleliquidsorgasesareproducedbychemicalreactionsorusedinchemicalreactions(8)LP-Gasinstallationsatutilitygasplants(9)Liquefiednaturalgas(LNG)installations(10)Fuelgaspipinginelectricutilitypowerplants(11)Proprietaryitemsofequipment,apparatus,orinstrumentssuchasgasgeneratingsets,compressors,andcalorimeters(12)LP-Gasequipmentforvaporization,gasmixing,andgasmanufacturing(13)LP-Gaspipingforbuildingsunderconstructionorrenovationsthatisnottobecomepartofthepermanentbuildingpipingsystemthatis,temporaryfixedpipingforbuildingheat(14)InstallationofLP-Gassystemsforrailroadswitchheating(15)InstallationofLP-Gasandcompressednaturalgas(CNG)systemsonvehicles(16)Gaspiping,meters,gaspressureregulators,andotherappurtenancesusedbytheservinggassupplierindistributionofgas,otherthanundilutedLP-Gas(17)Buildingdesignandconstruction,exceptasspecifiedherein(18)FuelgassystemsonrecreationalvehiclesmanufacturedinaccordancewithNFPA1192,StandardonRecreationalVehicles(19)Fuelgassystemsusinghydrogenasafuel(20)Constructionofappliances1.1.2OtherStandards.Inapplyingthiscode,referenceshallalsobemadetothemanufacturersinstructionsandtheservinggassupplierregulations.
