【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodmeasuresthenon-steadystateheattransferthroughflameresistantmaterialsforclothingsubjectedtoacontinuous,combinedconvectiveandradiantheatexposure.1.1.1Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletomaterialsthatarenotflameresistant.Note1Thedeterminationofamaterialsflameresistanceshallbemadepriortotestinganddoneaccordingtotheapplicableperformanceand/orspecificationstandardforthematerialsend-use.1.1.2Thistestmethoddoesnotpredictamaterialsskinburninjuryperformancefromthespecifiedthermalenergyexposure.Itdoesnotaccountforthethermalenergycontainedinthetestspecimenaftertheexposurehasceased.Note2SeeAppendixX4foradditionalinformationregardingthistestmethodandpredictedskinburninjury.1.2Thistestmethodisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundorotherunitsthatarecommonlyusedforthermaltesting.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
